citybond coating types

citybond aluminium composite panel has very attractive 15 standard flat colours and 2 standard granite pattern. Any other colour can be coated,upon request, subject to the quantity and time of the colour preparation and production. There are 2 types of coating and a film lamination.

The coatings are PVDF and Polyester. Both of them are applied to the aluminium coils using a continuous roll coating line.

PVDF (Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000) fluorocarbon resin coating ensure an Aluminium surface, which has an excellent durability and perfect resistance against weathering, solar radiation and pollution attacks. That is why it is recommended to use PVDF coated citybond for exterior facade systems.

Polyester coated panels are for interior decoration, short life applications and open air advertisements.

Film laminated panels are generally for interior decoration. There are very attractive marble and granite and wood patterns. There are also PVDF granite patterns for outside application.

Nano PVDF coating also available for outside facade systems.

The colour samples which shown in this site are subject to the printing limitation factors and may differ slightly from their original shades, due to printing technique. The original sample of citybond shall be binding.

To avoid the colour reflection difference, it is recommended to install citybond in the same direction of the arrows on the protective foils. On the other hand to ensure colour consistency, the total of citybond to be used for a specific Project must be procured at the same time, as colour variations may occur from the different production batches.
